A family of four desperately needs a vacation so they book a vacation home on one of the many booking sites offered today. Three weeks from now they will finally be relaxing in a cozy vacation home in SWFL:)

The day is here and after hours on the road, the family of four pulls into the driveway of the rented vacation home but to their

dismay driveway is covered in debris and a limb has fallen from a nearby tree that is laying across the sidewalk leading to the front door. The family exits the car and makes their way carefully to the front door. Upon entry the family quickly realizes the A/C is not working. [So far the property is not making a great 1st impression] Tired and exhausted from their trip, they try to get ahold of the host listed on the booking site but they only get a voicemail. The family is now thinking they may have made a mistake renting this home. Now what?

The family of four is on the road and on their way to the vacation home for a 3:00pm check-in. At 11:00am (pre-check in), a Gulf Haven Property Management associate does a pre-check in inspection and finds the driveway debris and limb blocking the sidewalk... probably caused by the thunderstorm that occurred in the area last evening. A plan is quickly put in place to remove the debris. Upon entry into the house the associate finds the house to be very warm (not what you want in SWFL). The PM Associate first checks the digital thermostats and finds neither thermostat seems to be working. After a little further inspection, the breaker was found to be tripped and the thermostats are now registering. Great! Not quite yet though, both thermostats now say "Offline" indicating no wi-fi signal. The PM Associate once again springs into inspection mode and locates the internet wireless router, after a quick reset, it is back in business! Now to tidy up the rest of the property and ensure a happy guest arrival. After a few more clean-up tasks and resetting some electronics, from an obvious power outage that must have occurred with the storm, the property is now ready for the new tenants' arrival.

Invigorated and excited that they made a great decision in booking this home, they quickly get the car unpacked and are excited to get their vacation started.
